try Acid
I use acid 4.0 pro to create backing tracks.  There's a ton of drum loops available in all kinds of styles, Also bass, keyboard, guitar, whatever.  You can loop forever, edit the loops, and change tempo without changing pitch - it does a lot of  neat stuff.

I saw Acid 4.0 pro for sale on ebay for under 10 bucks.  with shipping it should cost under $15.

Drum loops
Hi Guys

I've got a heap of nice swing drumloops if anyone's interested. Not sure about copyrights so can't upload anything here but if you mail me I can probably sort you out.

Midi drums
Occasionally I get emailed some free drum styles in midi format from Rob Goodwin of mididrumfiles.com

Drums are a pain to sequence, so off the shelf stuff is always worth checking out.  Relying on midi for a real straight-ahead Philly Joe groove that's right in the pocket is a waste of time, but some of the more exotic ethnic or rock-type styles can be quite usable.  Anyway, check out www.MIDIdrumfiles.com and make your own mind up.

Midi Requests
Hi, does anyone have a midi or the sheet music for "Mas que nada" peformed by sergio mendes and brasil'66? It was off the austin powers cd. Also, i believe "holiday" by Madonna has a latiny type solo at the end, and i've gone through heaps of midi's without the piano solo. Can anyone help?

Erroll Garner: Concert by the Sea Every music library should have this CD

I'm searching for a song called 'Canteloupe Island'
Hi, I'm searching for a song called 'Canteloupe Island'. I love the melody and I think I could do great with the improvisation part when I know what chords are used.

Lot of thanks, Martijn
