| I went to a Steve Gadd clinic this evening. I and a bass player were the only musicians in a whole club filled with drummers :) He's halfway through his clinic tour. If he's coming to your town, do yourself a favor and go see him - unbelievable and truly inspirational! | |

| I think he's headed for Chicago tonight (will be there 4/11) and just him - solo...we even got him to turn off the mics and just play - fantastic. Yesterday was his 60th birthday. I forgot to find out what he eats for breakfast:) | |

| As a drummer and a musician I can tell you that I wish I was there too! I went to a clinic that he did at the LA Musicians Union in 1984. It blew me away! Luckly I recored it on a cheap cassete player and I STILL listen to that tape from time to time. There are so many great Gadd tracks. I love all the stuff that he did with Chick Corea epecially " Three Quartets" Also Stealy Dan's "Aja" is a classic. I also like the " Gadd Gang" album. There's no fancy drumming but it all grooves so nicely. I even dig the vocal that he did! | |

| Yeah, but what about the $64,000 question...does he tap his foot on 1 and 3, or 2 and 4??? ;-) | |
