| Hi folks: I have updated some of my stuff at Albetan’s Area and Jazz en Español, using some of the amazing resorts of Finale. If you have not Finale 2004 or newer, please download FinaleNotePad from: www.finalemusic.com/notepad/ So you may hear examples by clicking “play” in Playback Controls ( a green triangle upwards). All lessons are nice and funny. Sorry for my poor English. Enjoy it. Albetan. | |

| If ther's a good sound card it sounds great. If you have a midi device, (keyboard, sound module) see MIDI SETUP and put it receiving omni-channel... if it is receiving only channel 1 it sounds good only in Solo Piano, because i send it in channel 1. Drums are always in channel 10. So if you have not a right midi setup in your device it sounds ugly with drums touching piano keys... I send bass in channel 2. May be if you change positions in output in MIDI SETUP in your Finale you may hear it right. Or if you put your device receiving omni-channel or midi-omni. In each staff there are 4 layers, and in some files as Salsa and Bossa i put different instrument and different midi channel in each layer. Notice in Wave at "Learning Bossa" a sax and a Rhythm section that you hear but you can not see in staff... A great resort in Finale is to hide some staff or some layer... Good luck and enjoy Finale files. Albetan | |
