LearnJazzPiano.com archives: Scot's piano fund
Dr. Whack -- 06/05/2005, 15:48:09 -- #14578
How about this idea???

I notice there are over 19,000 member accounts here - all provided free of charge to all of us by Scot and is many hours of hard work.

Here's the deal, if your are reading this, look up at the upper left hand corner  of your screen and click on "donate to Scot's grand piano fund" - donate $1.00 (USD) - that would be a quick 19 grand towards his well deserved grand piano - the absolute least we all can do for him!!

Please, start a clickin!!

And when you do, put a blank message here just to keep it on top.

Scot,

Which sheet music did u get to play "o cristmas tree". Are there any christmas sheet music that you recommend that has jazz influences in the songs?

sdm -- 06/16/2005, 01:26:00 -- #15183
Movin' up...

Scot -- 06/17/2005, 12:53:21 -- #15234
I did not use sheet music, just did it from knowing the melody of the song. But if you want a sheet music version that I have arranged, go to http://www.sibelius.com and look for my last name (ranney) and you'll be able to print it out.   It's several pages.

Dr. Whack -- 06/19/2005, 12:04:56 -- #15285
movin up again:)

C'mon!  You'll feel great after you've donated!

sdm -- 06/19/2005, 12:14:53 -- #15286
And when you do, say just a little something here.  Let's see if we can just keep this in the top ten (without Dr. W and I having to move it up)!

Dr. Whack -- 06/29/2005, 20:48:08 -- #15887
Okay...Scot's working overtime now to keep this board under control - all for free - so why not chip in a buck or two or five or ten or 20 or 50...so he can at least pay for his piano!

C'mon - the waters's fine:)

jmderay -- 07/19/2005, 06:33:37 -- #16722
done.

Even if, as a jazz beginner, the amount of information I got on that site for free cost (1000x) much more, and even if it's everyone's infos which "make" the all thing, only one person permits us to get something else  than "404 Page not found" right here.

So, effectively, this thread deserve to stay on top !!

sdm -- 08/03/2005, 19:29:46 -- #17242
We've let this slide clear off the page.  I hope people are at least clicking through so Scot and this site get SOME support.

Just quoting the good Dr's original idea:

I notice there are over 19,000 member accounts here - all provided free of charge to all of us by Scot and is many hours of hard work.

Here's the deal, if your are reading this, look up at the upper left hand corner  of your screen and click on "donate to Scot's grand piano fund" - donate $1.00 (USD) - that would be a quick 19 grand towards his well deserved grand piano - the absolute least we all can do for him!!

jmderay -- 08/04/2005, 06:04:27 -- #17262
This tread is light ....

it comes up all alone ...

Scot -- 08/04/2005, 11:49:28 -- #17273
I did just get a notification of a donation for $42, and in the past several weeks there have been more donations than in the past, so I'm sure this thread helps.  Very cool!

And thanks to all that take the time to part with some of their hard earned funds!
