Wonderful singer who will truly be missed.  For those youngins' out there, that hack Ruben Studdard took his act and sound wholesale from this man, along with many other imitators.  Anybody remember the much hyped non-speaking cameo is Meteor Man?  Anybody remember Meteor Man at all?  Seriously though, the music world has lost one of its most talented pure vocalists, and that's something in short supply this days (emphasis on TALENTED: Ashlee Simpson does not fit this critieria).

RIP Luthor.  Peace.

And for Trivia, got his start as a backup singer for David Bowie, appeared on the original episode of Sesame Street, and was the composer of many popular jingles of the 70's.

A great vocalist with classics that will be just as listenable 50 years from now...

Peace Luther and God bless you in heaven
