| Ok, can someone post some good latin jazz players? im trying to find some to hear their music and start my "latin jazz ear training" since i dont really know a lot of thecnical things, dont really put something like, iiv or something like that cause i dont really understand that, i only took basic things in the music school, and as you can see, im an ear player, its kind of sad that i cant get help from such things, i could be playing in a more "advance" way if i could understand some things that the members put here... | |

| I think most jazz pianist know Michel Camilo, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Chucho Valdés and Danilo Perez. You can look for the recordings of Charlie Palmieri, Eddie Palmieri, Hector Martignon (this last is from Colombia), Emiliano Salvador (from Cuba), Papo Lucca (from Puerto Rico), Mark levine (he plays prety much like a latin pianist thought hesn't), Elio Villafranca, Hernán Lopez-Nussa, Omar Sosa, Hilario Durán, Bebo Valdés, Rubén González. | |

| i happen to like Gregg Rolie (sp) the keyboard player from Santana even though his playing is not too advanced. Check out Santana live at the Fillmore '68, Abraxas, and others. | |
