| This is a long shot I know. But I have yanked an old guitar style keyboard out of the closet and am thinking of going back on stage with it. Does anyone know anything about wireless midi cables? | |

| There are all sorts of them out there. They are in the $200-$400 range, US. However! If I were you, I'd buy an extra long midi cable and use that for a while. Most guys I know who bought the roland guitar-keyboard, or took out keyboards they could wear with a strap or something, stopped using them after a short while. I've thought about it, then thought through it, then thought not :) But, there's no harm in using a long midi cable. Guitar players use long cables, and it will give you a chance to see if you really want to spend the money on the wireless system. | |

| I hear ya. probally a good idea. Funny I called Sam Ash In NYC today and The GTR Center in Boston and those guys didnt know anything. I was hoping maybe they were cheaper. I also had visions of praciticing while walking around my yard this summer. But I think maybe I had better experiment with the long cable for a while longer first, I can still practice out on my deck with that. | |
