This is a long shot I know.  But I have yanked an old guitar style
keyboard out of the closet and am thinking of going back on stage with it.  Does anyone know anything about wireless midi cables?

There are all sorts of them out there.  They are in the $200-$400 range, US.

However!  If I were you, I'd buy an extra long midi cable and use that for a while. Most guys I know who bought the roland guitar-keyboard, or took out keyboards they could wear with a strap or something, stopped using them after a short while. I've thought about it, then thought through it, then thought not :)

But, there's no harm in using a long midi cable.  Guitar players use long cables, and it will give you a chance to see if you really want to spend the money on the wireless system.

I hear ya.  probally a good idea.  Funny I called Sam Ash In NYC today and The GTR Center in Boston and those guys didnt know anything.  I was hoping maybe they were cheaper.  I also had visions of praciticing while walking around my yard this summer.  But I think maybe I had better experiment with the long cable for a while longer first,  I can still practice out on  my deck with that.
