| Does anybody of you guys have a kawai mp9000 or mp9500? I want to change my Roland FP-3 and buy another elec. piano. I want a better touch, the most equal to an acoustic grand, and a reallystic piano sound. I've never try this kawai but I've heard it's amazing. Any help? Thanksss.... | |

| I own the MP9000. The touch is bad-ass, and I've never had any problems w/ it. I like the piano sound, and have recorded w/ it. People can't tell the difference fm/ a real piano. It's heavy to lug around and expensive, but worth it. I know another pianist who doesn't like the preset sound and has his own midi'ed in. For touch it is awesome. Ryan Burns | |

| I owned the MP9000 and now own the MP9500, I'm a classically trained pianist and I would say go and try the MP, it's amazing. I wouldn't go so far to say that you can compare it to an acoustic grand, nothing compares to a grand, but the touch of the MP is IMO good enough to improve your technique. I think the piano sound is a matter of taste, I got used to it, but it is far from perfect. Nikos | |
