| I am thinking of buying a new keyboard. I would like one with good graded hammer action, a moderate number of voices, the ability to manipulate the sound envelopes, some recording and at least a drum track. What does everyone recommend? Glanddoc | |

| It depends of how picki you are with sound and poliphony, the Yahama S90es is about 2000 it comes with a very nice and real piano sound which is the one you can qualify a synthe, it means the other sounds are good too, if you are not satisfyed with the big sound library you can upgrade it for 250 per library, and it is something do far I have not needed yet, for me it is good enough. Now if you do not need something that fancy try the S80 for about 750 or 800, gives you decent sounds. Both have a good filling about the hummer action, abviusly the S90ES brings the newest and detailed as far as to give with the FC3 pedal half damper, again it depends of how picki you are. | |
