| In jazz class the other day, we got a version of Footloose to play for the swing choir. (not jazz, I know, but for the class). During the piece, there's a 4 measure phrase that's just labelled 'eruption' and then looks like a glissando from d above middle c to the b on the top of the clef. Does anybody know what it means? -kalel | |

| That's the part of the chart where you just go completely atonal, I mean, really, just completely apeshit. Just blow up. Let it all out. Knock the piano over, if you feel like it. Let out a good primal scream, like "AAAAHGGHHHHHEEEEEEEIIIIAAAAAIIIRIEEEVERYBODY GOIN FOOTLOOSE" and then come back on the D chord. | |
