| Been working with the book for a while. The book itself I don't think is of much use for a pianist, but the CD is great for practice. It may take some tweaking, but if you can mute the right channel, you'll have a bass+drum combo to practice with. The book has almost nothing on voicing so you'll have to fill in the gap or try to pick thing up by listening to the piano track. Either way, this is very good practice material. Obviously a classic that all beginners should know about. | |
