| All this talk about Virtuos's go me to thinking. How fast do some of the members here play? I can play a three ocatave major scale run in c in about 1 sec and a half. Has anyone else ever timed themselves? Just curious. Yea I know it a rather superfical question, but oh well, i'm bored. Humour me! :) JV' | |

| I always measure speed in terms of eighth notes played at metronome markings like 300 bpm, not how many octaves I can play in 1.5 seconds. I personaly don't much like listening to fast tempos, that's partly why I am not a big Eldar fan. | |

| One interesting point: Martha Argerich is the only pianist (I know of) that fit the entire Liszt Sonata onto one side of an LP. LMAO | |
