| Hi folks, I'm playing in this band now and a bunch of the tunes requires some fast bluesy/rock piano licks (major and minor sounding). Does anybody know some good player to check out to pick up some of this vocabulary? Better yet......do you know any good albums that have this type of vocab that is easy to pick up? Thank for all your help in advance! | |

| I'm not sure because I don't listen to much rock but I've heard some stuff by "Little Feet" that has some nice bluesy-rock type stuff. I'm sure there's tons more great stuff to check out. I'd like to know some more stuff to listen to because I would feel clueless in a rock type gig. Good Luck! Paul | |

| Do a search in the forums- someone posted a great link to what you are asking about.. do a search on "licks" or "gospel" I can't remember the name of the guy, but it was some good stuff. | |

| There is a surprizingly fine line between fast blues/rock piano lines at times and smokin McCoy Tyner jazz piano. Practice your pentatonics is my advice... get em flyin. | |
