| I played the wav file they had where it plays a G major chord followed by "G mu major" - it sure sounded a hell of a lot like G(9). Guitar players always think they're discovering some "new" chord. | |

| The chord was not inveneted by Steely Dan, that is a ridiculous claim. It's like claiming Jimi Hendrix invented the E7 #9 chord, which he did not. You won't see a chard labled "C mu-major" on a chart. Tt will read "C add 2" or "C2" | |
