If you have a (free) Google account, you can browse through parts of a lot of interesting jazz books. For example, go to Google, click on more, books, and type in Jazzology to browse through sections of Jazzology. Or, type in "sixth diminished scale"  to read a short chapter from 100 Keyboard Ideas, concerning these Barry Harris scales.

most useful tip in a long time,  I never thought to hit "more" on the google searches to find there was a book search.  EVen more google fun to come
