| I've come to realise I like listening to live jazz albums much more than studio ones. By far my two favourites are Miles Davis - Friday and Saturday Nights at the Blackhawk. This album really swings hard with Wynton Kelly on piano. The other one funnily enough is Bud Powell Live in Laussane which pumps. If you haven't checked those 2 out then get into them. What other live albums would people recommend? | |

| Monty Alexander, "Montreaux Alexander". I think it's being re-released now due to the Alexander/Hamilton/CLayton trio doing their reunion tour at this time. | |

| Unequivocally, Bill Evans "Sunday at the Village Vanguard" You might also like Miles Davis' " '58 Sessions" with Bill on piano. Brad Mehldau on Art of the Trio Vol 4: Back at the Vanguard is sublime. | |
