I'm posting this sort of in response to "YourMove's" learning tool.. post, which had gotten rather off topic.

Notice each hexagon contains two triangles of major 3rds (minor 6ths)

And also, not pictured, from the circle (dodecagon) of 5ths it is possible to derive the three squares of minor 3rds (6ths).

I've found these useful as tools for learning modulations and the relationships between key signatures.

For example, take one hexagon and it becomes very easy to learn songs like Tune Up or Giant Steps in six different keysigs.

I'm working on "The Dodecagon" drawing which is the culmination of the concept. Will post the link when it's up
