Thanks,

I used to use on the top keyboard: The first three and the last drawbar pulled out all the way.
On the bottom keyboard a kind of reverse V.

I like the first four all the way out, but I also like the V kinda thing - just experiment - it's all good:)

A few years ago, Keyboard Magazine did an article showing favorite drawbar settings for some of the most notable players.  I wonder if you could do a search to find that baby? (I'm too lazy and my Leslie is sick, so I can't play my B anyway)

Beauty in the B (awesome book, though I don't own it) has a whole bunch of useful stuff in there, including history, classic Hammond licks, drawbar settings, and interviews with players and their approaches and techniques on the instrument, i.e., Greg Allman says to change up the drawbars as often as possible, and someone else says that they need to play uptempo tunes with a drummer to keep them from rushing out of control (stemming from a previous topic of primarily using the left hand for bass lines as opposed to the pedals.) Whew.

yeah...it seems like the real organists change up the sounds quite often.   Joey D does it quite a bit.  I met him, BTW...man that guy can eat!!:)
