| I'm in an interesting situation. I've access to Brooklyn Academy of Music, which isn't in its best condition at the moment.. but apparently they have more than enough pianos. But the pianos are in very bad condition, and I'm thinking of paying to fix up 1 or 2 pianos so I could rent it for practice. Most of these mini grands are extremely old.. Like ivory keys old. I even saw a harpsichord, and a square piano! I mean, last time I saw a square piano was in a museum.. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew, or does piano servicing.. since it'll probably be a long running project, fixing things here and there, I'm looking for someone flexible and reasonable. I mean, these pianos are in horrible condition, so it'll start with going through the pianos to figure out which ones are "save-able"... things like that. Anyone have any recommendations? | |
