My personal favorite is "I Loves You Porgy".  If you like ballads.

Summertime from Porgy and Bess (1935)is a Jazz Standard. Rhapsody in Blue, The man I Love, Embraceable You, Somebody Loves Me (1924), Fascinating Rhythm I Got Rhythm (1930), Let's Call The Whole Thing Off, (1937), It Ain't Necessarily So (1935).

I agree with all the previous songs and I will add MY MAN`S GONE NOW ISNT IT A PITY - SOMEONE TO WATCH OVER ME - BUT NOT FOR ME -NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT__THEY CANT TAKE THAT AWAY FROM ME__HOW LONG HAS THIS BEEN GOING ON-AND _ WHO CARES. The verses of someone to watch and but not for me are 2 of the greatest of all time

Don't forget: Love Walked In and They All Laughed. They All Lauged is great fun to play and you can mix in some boogie and stride! Dave Grusins Gershwin Conection is very inspiring!
