I remember that I downloaded a piece of software off the web some 5 years ago. It had some midi recorded jazz performances by different pianists. It had pictures of theese pianists, and a keyboard on to of the screen to see what they were playing, and notation window. I can't remember the name of this software, I would like to get a hold of it again, but I can't find it. Anyone remember or have something like this? Doc-Z

I think the software you are looking for comes from www.pgmusic.com/, the jazz pianist or modern jazz pianist or something like that. Hope this helps! Henrik

I was fortunate enough to afford a copy and I use it extensively in my practice sessions. I'm not a rep for the company or anything like that but I find it to be an excellent piece of software that has great learning possibilities. In many  cases I'll take a song from a book and plug in the chords and jam with it or try different styles, to hear different way to arrange it. I'd recommend it to anyone as a great learning tool. Oh yeh. It's called Band in a Box.
