Somebody offered me a baby grand upright for a real cheap price. I once saw somebody here post a link that with a serial number, i could have it dated and evaluated. Would anyone still have that link?

There is a big (possibly Anglo-centric) list of pianos at http://www.pianos.co.uk/info/pianos/ The Janssen is mentioned, but I could find no mention of a value or rating I'm afraid. There was a link to this page: http://www.walterpiano.com/profile.html which provides some info.

There is a book called "The Piano Book" by Larry Fine (no kidding)  It may be worth checking your local library if you dont have the gold to buy it...
