| A vote for Nadar is a vote for Bush: Bush 48% Kerry 47% Nadar 1% If Bush wins he will have the chance to appoint 4 new ulra-conservative Supreme Court Judges. | |

| Actually, a vote for Nader is 1/2 of a vote for Bush. But actually, if anyone here is thinking of voting for Nader, would you vote for Kerry if Nader weren't on the ballot or would you just not vote for President? | |

| If you're particularly Kerry-fied and you live in Ohio or states with similar laws, do not wear democratic or Kerry/Edwards buttons, t-shirts, or anything else because it's advertising outside of the polls and they WILL NOT let you vote | |

| Reminds me of the old Fugs song from the 60's ("River of S--t") with the great line "Who invented a system, supposedly democratic, where you always end up voting for the lesser of two evils?" Y'all are getting a wake up call and welcome to the realities of American "democracy". The system is rigged so that only the "major" party candidates can win or even participate. We Libertarians have been fighting ballot access laws for years - even when you get on they make you start all over on the next election. | |

| In order to get on the ballot for a state, the candidates must pass some sort of required candidate stuff. Sometimes it requires signatures, sometimes it requires money (or both), sometimes there are other requirements, and in some states, there may not be any at all. Problem is, Nader was not able to fulfill all the requirements to be on the ballot for all states. There is literature about this on the web if you want to do a bit of a search. | |
