| A Blues and Boogie pianist acquaintance of mine recently suggested that the best funky rhythm was to be found in a "sweet spot" inbetween straight 16ths and triplets. Does this make sense to anyone here ? - any ideas on how to get this groove - I seem to just flick between the two in binary fashion. |

| Actually - I think it's 16th notes or 8th notes - the point is that it's inbetween straight and triplet (or shuffle) timing. |
