They are showing the 95 concert that I had mentioned in a prior thread tonight (Friday) on VH1 Classic for those that get it.  I believe it's at 8:00 PM EST.  This is from the Hot House tour and has special guest appearances by Pat Metheny, Bonnie Raitt, Don Henley and Bob Weir.  If your a fan of that album (Spiderfingers, White Wheel Limosine, etc,), it should be worth checking out or taping.   Wish I had a dvd burner.... When I first got back to the States (ca 1993), Gil Karson asked me to join his band which included guitarist Mark Karan. We were doing classic rock & country covers in sleazy dives for $25 a man a night. Fun but definitely not profitable. NOW Mark is playing with Bob Weir and Bruce Hornsby and presumably making tons of money. The point of this post is not to name-drop, it's just that I'm soooooo jealous of Mark's success. He's a really nice guy though and a really good guitarist and singer, he deserves it.
