I've been playing jazz piano professionally since the late 80's. During the 90's I had long term gigs in places like South Korea, Hong Kong, Japan, and Aspen, Colorado (musician by night, ski bum by day). These days you'll find me in Bellingham, Washington, where I run the best jam session ever on Tuesday nights and play music throughout the Northwest - solo jazz piano (my favorite!), trio (my other favorite!), and the vocal accompanying thing (helps pay the bills).
My band/project is called Chico's Paradise. We play a variety of original and standard material in a very Chico's Paradise kind of way- funky with a large dash of jazzyness, topped with reggae and calypso, and dished out with a healthy portion of psychedelic groove. We've been a favorite for the dance, party, and chillin' out crowds since I started in 1996 when I lived in Aspen.
