fellow jazz piano enthusiasts,

i'd like to invite those of you who are intermediate pianists (can at least play c, f, g major scales and primary chords) through advanced "recovering classical" pianists to attend 88 creative keys, the only camp to focus solely on improvisation for pianists. we have locations in denver, co and columbus, oh.  these are not camps for high-end jazzers. our specialty is helping inexperienced improvisers get started on creative music making or if you already are comfortable improvising, we can help you get out of the "intermediate rut" by figuring out what to work on next.

here's the official blurb:
eye players read music; ear players improvise. to broaden their musical creativity and stylistic range, contemporary musicians need instruction in both. yet, many traditionally trained pianists and teachers feel uncomfortable improvising.

that's why bradley sowash, kjos published author of the top-selling "that's jazz" piano series and leila viss, author of "the ipad piano studio," are offering the 88 creative keys student camp, adult clinic and teacher workshop this summer. learn to balance the reading skills you already know with creative improvisation so you or your students can enjoy making music in a variety of styles and settings without limitation!

thanks for considering it.
