i was searching for ways to increase practice time, since i seemed to always have too little.  suddenly in one move i found a way to increase my practice time by 5 hrs. a week!  i am now playing during every lunch hour at a nursing home just down the street from where i work. it works out fine because i always take a lunch to work and usually feel more comfortable just snacking on my lunch throughout the day, so i don't miss my lunch hour.  also, the nursing home has a good piano and the people are appreciative.  you can also just practice a solo during a piece for 10 minutes and nobody cares, and you can play pieces over and over.  this essentially doubles my practice time now.
