yeah, ok, it's begging and pleading, but i just read where some lady begged her web site visitors for $$ so she could buy some jewelry or something and received over $50k!  i think asking for donations for the grand piano fund is much better reason for grovelling, don't you think?

:)

i've enhanced the external search routines. kind of cool- it pulls in stuff from musicnotes, amazon, and cd universe.

getting closer to opening up the associates store here on ljp.  basically  it will let anyone sell jazz related items on this site (application required).  downloadable music, books, cds, etc.

the deal will be that the money goes into my paypal account and an email message goes to the buyer, seller, and myself. if the item is not downloadable, the seller needs to mail it.

at the end of the month i transfer sales to each sellers paypal account minus 25%. with other sites who sell software and music and such taking upwards of 75% of the sales, i  think it's a good deal for everone involved.  this site gets nearly 2000 unique visitors a day and is on top of just about every search engine there is, so selling things on this site certainly can't hurt anyone's bottom line.

associates who  sell on this site will have access to all reports and such regarding their sales.

if anyone is curious or has any ideas/concerns, i'm all ears.
