miles recorded very  nicely as well, but i don't remember the name of the album, but i'm sure it's easy to find.

incidentally the composer is usually identified as "cleo henry" - in fact it was gil evans, who used miles's mother's name.

hi, check out the cd "miles in montreaux", 1990 or 1991. it is an invitation to miles davis in order to play some sketches of the albums "miles ahead" and "birth of the cool", with the gil evans orchestra. since miles was ill at that time (in fact, it would be his last public performance), he took wallace roney to play the trumpet when he couldn't breath enough to play.
