hi all,

i currently own akg 141s studio headphones, which are hooked up tp my yamaha p90 piano. i have had these headphones for over a year now, and although i am really satisfied with the sound, i think they are very very uncomfortable to wear. i think because they are 'supraaural' they push to much on the ears.

i am lookin for a new set of headphones, which will still be comfortable when worn for more than half an hour.

any suggestions? i am thinking about this one, the akg k271 studio, which is circumaural. any thoughts?

sorry about this, but i've always wanted to put my head between two stereo speakers not too far away. the volume doesn't need to be that loud. this has got to be non-tiring! i need to set up an easy chair in this configuration...
sennheiser hd 555's.  i bought a pair 6 months ago and they're great.  very light, open headphones with velvet padding so soft that you'll forget you're wearing them. i actually use them with the same keyboard.  however, they are "open" so not so good if you're practicing somewhere with lots of ambient noise.

if you like the phones, there's more expensive sets in the same line.

i highly recommend sennheiser regardless.
and what about the
