jeff,

i've been going through the exercises/etudes book and finally saw the slew of eharmonic problems.  both with the 2-5 tri-tone stuff and the chord/harmony/arpeggio exercise near the end.  sheesh!

i wanted to ask that about double flats and sharps.  i really prefer to just notate an a, for example, instead of a b double flat in the case of chords that would require a double flat just in order to notate the note within the chord.

what do you think?

also, i was thinking about your comment about talking about 7th vs 9th chords and things of that nature, maybe i should write some kind of introduction page that explains the entire purpose of the book, along with explanations regarding chord symbol usage, prerequisites, etc...

thanks again for taking the time to go through this monster. it's a big deal for me to get this out, if there is any success at all (such as, i sell 5 of them :) i am ready to put out volume 2 at a moment's notice.
