i've had the opportunity to play a few tunes with her over the years. she's at the top of her game! plus, a vocalist who can play so well on her instrument is always a lot of fun to play with.

i recall playing funji mama with her and a drummer named... pete swan. one of the best times i've ever had playing that tune.

If I'm not back in 24 hours, call the president.

i'm hip to her unique gifts. her voice is a standout and her bass playing is respectable too.

yeah she is great. i saw her at the yellowstone jazz fest here in wyoming. she was really hip. i love her version of cheek to cheek. she is a really talented scat singer to!!
