i just got one and am wondering if anybody else over here has one,knows about it,etc.......

is that the machine that was basically band in a box? if it's what i'm thinking it is, i never had one, but i know people who did...and they loved it

a guitarist came over with one of those. showed me how to enter changes, and the thing would play some pretty good drums and bass lines. it had tons of styles. i was really impressed. it's pricey, but i find it much easier than biab + pc.

thanks to the above replies.....i've had it for a couple of weeks now and have pretty much figured out how to use it..i had a dr3 that got stolen and the system on this one is a little different..it's a nice little machine....it allows you to adjust the pattern you input to have a "swing" feel or to move the note in either direction rhythmically by a hair or so(i.e. if it's a 16th but the actual feel produced requires it to be somewhere between a 16th and a 32nd you can mess with it and see what you can come up with re-the difference between playing a pattern in real time on a set and inputting it..you can get it precise but it just "sits there" without adjusting it..anyone else here who's dealt with this,let me know.........
