only 85 keys?
personally?  i would give it a miss, kemble are a make for schools for kids to learn on, they are appalling pianos in my opinion, they have no dynamic range they are horrid to play and i have never come across a nice kemble piano.

i hate to tell you this as i'm sure you're quite exited, but i personally wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

lots of european pianos have 85 keys (a - a).

don't know why, but it's a fact.

my acoustic spinet (now residing in my living room) that i brought over from switzerland has 85 keys.
hmmmm....i guess it's a matter of economics.  a savings of three keys per piano makes good sense  - heh heh
i don't believe i've ever seen one of those.  i think i would miss high c!
what i have seen and played on and liked are those bosendorfers with the extra keys in the bass...  and the little door that folds over them so as not to confuse you lol.
going down to the f in the bass does seem to give those pianos more resonance... a different sound.  i liked playing on the bosendorfer.
its gonna take me probably more time to save up for a good piano and i thought that i could use it for pactice instead of my digital yamaha p80,the real piano is real piano and hand muscles will form better this is what i think ,but i might be wrong maybe its better to practice on p80 then on bad upright ???
well, if it has a good action, if it's not super-light, it might be good to practice on a real piano, even if it's not a great one.
see how it feels to you, and if you can stand the sound of it.
if it sounds horrible, you won't enjoy even practicing on it.
