my first real latin piano influence was michel camilo.  i really enjoyed his earlier stuff, but later in the game either everyone was copying him or he's copying everyone else, but it didn't light that fire that his first couple albums did.  i like his playing especially because of how rhythmic he is.

chic corea latin chops are amazing, i've always enjoyed his my spanish heart recording among many others.

mark levine, omar sosa, camilo...you might find more others in youtube.
chucho valdez.  there's an album that was released last year of him and his dad playing together.  "the peanut vendor" is mind blowing.  i don't know which of his albums is best though.  he has a "live at the village vanguard" recording.  it's usually hard to go wrong with those.
