i'd like to share something i've been working on for over a year. it's my composition dedicated to joe zawinul, using sequencing and live overdubbing on the korg triton, acoustic piano, home-made talk box, bass clarinet, and bass recorder. my goal here was to try to capture some of the elements that made zawinul's music unique, particularly in the zawinul syndicate band.

it's a bit long. it has three parts and altogether over 9 minutes.

comments and critique are welcome, especially concerning that of the sound and mixing, which i think needs work.

i think you have a great feel for this sort of thing. the music took me on a nice journey and yes, i can hear the zaniwul tribute/influence in it plus a lot of what i'm sure is your own style.

super funky in spots, and introspective in others.

i enjoyed the very end, too, almost a reverse computer thing.

great job, hands down, you're extremely talented and musical.  make some more!
