hi jazzfriends, i'm extremely happy to invite you to a very special master class taking place at klavierhaus, 211 west 58th street, on saturday afternoon, march 12th from 2-4 pm. none other than dick hyman, one of our *greatest* living jazz pianists and educators, will be joining me to perform and discuss his music. this unique occasion is an opportunity to spend quality time with a contemporary master! dick will perform and we will discuss his approach to playing solo, and dick will be showing a historical film clip of himself and billy taylor playing duo pianos, following which dick and i will play duo live together. the price for the afternoon is $15 at the door.
the class/performance will be recorded and broadcast at a later date as part of my youtube master class series.

please consider joining me at the beautiful new performance venue at klavierhaus for what should be a magnificent afternoon with a living legend of jazz:)
