Volume 5 of the "Jazz Piano Notebook Series" is Available!

Jeff Brent is the author for Volume 5, "Blues Soloing"

While The Blues is not Jazz per se, a huge percentage of Jazz standards are Blues based. It has often been said that "in order to really play Jazz, you have to first have mastered the Blues".

Volume 5 is full of tasty blues transcription, licks, and studies, and includes detailed analysis of every piece. When I say detailed, I mean it. Jeff takes the time to really dig into his work and no stone is left unturned.

Jeff is an accomplished pianist and author and has published with Hal Leonard more than once.
