here is a simple aerobic breathing exercise which will not only help you to hold a note for a long, long, time, but also give you an added plus of inches off your waistline and stamina for running, climbing stairs and an increased energy level like you won't believe.

try it--whattaya got to lose? you will definitely lose inches from your waistline.

take in a deep breath through your nose, sniffing the air in slowly as if you were at the beach sniffing in the salty air.

when you have sniffed the breath in as much as you can----expel all the air from your lungs with a paaaahh sound. you can tell when you have expelled all the air from your lungs.

now, hold your breath while you suck in your tummy and diaphram. really suck it in as tight as you can--hold your breath for the count of eight( i do it to about fifteen) and then release-- with a little gasp sound--like someone scared you--everyone will have their own different sound. doesn't matter.

you can do this sitting or standing anywhere(where it isn't embarassing) in the car, walking, watching tv--anywhere. the more often you do it--the greater the results.

you will actually begin to see your waistline slim up and the air you have for singing or horn playing will, within a few weeks, just astound you.

naturally, if you smoke(i hope you don't) the results won't be as dramatic and certainly noone who is short of breath for any reason or with asthma or any breathing problems that are health related---- should do this without asking their physician before they begin.

even if you are overweight--you will see results with the slimming of the waistline and encreased energy level and air supply.
it's good to measure yourself before you begin(if it's not upsetting for you to do it) and then measure in a few weeks after this breathing technique. you will be surprised.

your air supply for singing and horn playing is what will  turn you on.
i do exercise a lot too, but it is this breathing exercise that got me started.

this will sound crazy, but i know i could climb the steps to the empire state building and not be out of breath

.i hope this will be of help to  you. i actually know it will-- if you do it regularly and don't have any health problems to prevent you from doing it.

worked for me! br
