may be a little strange a post here after i posted sometime in the "general" forum :)but just becouse sometime i like to post i feel right to introduce myself.

i am born and live in florence, italy and am 45 years old.
started  to play piano, self learned, when was 12.
always loved jazz but when young i played many years in a "jazz-rock" group with rhodes until i stopped 10 years later ( when was around 21 ).

i played keyboards for "hobby" until 7 years ago, when i closed with my job and my woman and decided to play piano jazz studying it and with dedication. was lucky enough to collect around 400 gigs in the last years :).

i know my self learned background make me an "incomplete" pianist, with many weak points but i am curious and patient and want to improve if possible my skills.

my favorite piano players are art tatum, bud powell, thelonious monk, red garland.

i think ljp a great site and love the idea to share opinions related to jazz with so many collegues. my bad english keep me away from some discussions but i am less timid with my wrong english than my wrong notes :) so i am reluctant to upload midi files played by me.btw, beeing a piano jazz forum and beeing this an introduction post i feel right to attach
a sample midi file, just like a personal card :)

thanks to scot for the great ljp site and thanks to all the contributors of the forum.
