maybe you are "darkening the blackboard", as we say here (pessimistic), and one thing i've learned and try to think about all the time, is to avoid generalizing about humans, there are good, bad, narrow-minded, well-educated, ... all kind of people everywhere. the matter is not the citizenship, it's then a question of environment, your education, your curiousity lo learn new things, maybe the scholar system .. and so on. it's hard to blame a person living in deep kentucky to know how to show a specific european country on a map, as it would be hard for any european to show montana on a us map, for instance, but i would add this : is it the most important thing ? personnally it's not a criteria, and not a way for me to tell if the person is good or bad. distinction between "smart" and "good". j'esp�re �tre clair :)
now if you don't want to hurt groyann, write you love strasbourg sausages and alsacian white wine :) lolc'est une bonne chose d'�tre francophone !
