yep,

i got a kurzweil keyboard for five dollards--

--- in the parking lot of ralph's in la

a hispanic family was selling stuff in the lot and i saw a sign that said "kurzweil" sticking up under the junk so i took a look---
sure enough---a keyboard---(reminded me of the black fin sticking up out of the water in "jaws").

i asked the guy how much he wanted for it -- he could barely speak english---

he replied "eet no work". i said, that's ok, how much do you want for it?

he said "fi dollar"

i handed him the five bucks and his son helped me put it in the back seat of the car----

got it home--plugged in a patch chord and "voila"---"poifect"

best vibe sound i've ever heard---can anyone tell me how to get a manual---i've tried--- but i guess it's too old to get one---it looks in brand new condition--but with a little window for info.

it is a k1000.

if anyone knows  how i can get a manual, please let me know. i tried to get info from the kurzweil company---but the numbers i got----led me to noone who could help.

it doesn't have a scratch on it---so amazing since it was under a heap of junk.

what a vibe sound!!!!---i'm enjoying playing it.

pretty good buy--doncha think?
