it's very good for jimmy smith jazz organ sound with the slow leslie effect on. it's very portable too. it has an organ-like action. for rhodes and piano the action & velocity curve response is very jumpy. because it's too frustrating for me to play it, i can't get good control over the dynamics (pp-ff). i also noticed playing the rhodes that i had to pound on the keys so as to stay up in the louder brighter velocity layers (ff) because the softer layers sounded muffled and almost vanished when i played with other instruments. the acoustic piano sound is not very good. the updated piano sound is a big improvement, good enough for comping but wouldn't want to play solo with it.
having been playing the nord electro for 3 years now, i still love and adore this keyboard. for me nothing comes close for quality of sound and usability, once you get used to the virtual drawbars its a piece of cake. i agree with jazz+ on the acoustic piano, it doesn't stand up at all, but the electric pianos and organ are where its at. i've played jazz, country, gospel, hard rock and even live dnb with the electro, the sounds are much more than the cliche jazz organ.

the touch is very light, but makes for easy flying up and down. i've had no problems with dynamics (probably due to the length of time i've been playing it). the rotary 'fast' switch on a pedal is very useful, as is a volume swell.

the keyboard crashed once and refused to initialise its os. clavia were very helpful and 30minutes later with the usb connection i had reloaded the entire guts of the keyboard.

hope this helps!
