hi everybody!

i'm ready to work on the ''rythm changes'' in all twelves keys.

what are those those definite changes...for a beginner.

i don't want fancy reharmonization or chord substitutions...

just the basic changes.

check out the ralph patt vanilla version for the 'stripped down to basics' changes in bb.

use gm7 on the ballads but g7b13 is more common in rhythm changes.

bridge: circle of fifths starting on the major 3rd of the key.
add extensions.
think numbers, not chords. then you can play it in any key.
since i learned this from dexterity i put a ii in from of the d7 in the bridge.  i think you could do that with the whole thing couldn't you?
right !! putting a 2 ifo a 7 almost anywhere, works. i try it all the time charlie. also a tri- tone-- substitution.
