i hope you singer/musicians are aware that your inner instrument needs you to take care of it and to see to it that it is never abused.

i do take herbs and supplements and haven't had a cold or flu in over twenty years and have never missed a performance because of sickness.

everyone knows the bad things that can harm your voice---"singing on the chords" where the voice is not supported by diaphragm breathing can cause nodes and missed performances--not to mention---heartache.

obviously anyone knows that smoking is a no no---but for those that do---there are supplements that can slow down the harmful effects on smoking and keep the lungs as clear as possible

i highly reccommend that you look into doing that---if you aren't already---i reccommend a supplement called "prime lung"--but there are a lot of others that are comparable and they do help slow down the toll that smoking will, of course, take on the vocal instrument.

your  voice will be only as good as your health and good attitude and there are a lot of good voices we will never hear because they lacked those two essential things.

i've got a heavy work time now but delighted to be choreographing and directing  as well as singing

i won't write much and do most of my writing on sites on sunday or sometimes monday-- will be gone shortly and no time at all but i wanted to remind you to take care of the most precious of all instruments---your voice.
the human voice can lose it's beauty---not neccessarily with age---but because of abuse and "unhappiness"

yes, it's true if you are unhappy your voice will take on that sadness and begin to slip in vibrancy---it has a soul---"yours"

the voice is subject to your emotions at all times--it's vibrato, timber and most of all the breathing becomes laboured if you are stressed.

hey, we all get stressed, but believe it or not,the love of your vocal instrument, can actually make you stay away from stressful situations and avoid people who stress you out---and the love of your voice can cause your choices to be more positive as it's protector

you need to realize that you and you alone are it's protector

if you don't love your voice and you take it for granted---it will take you for granted and not be there for you when you want it most to be.

love your voice and it will be there always for you.

some essential thinking in my opinion----

be grateful for your instument and that others love it too

don't harbor any grudges--let them go and chalk them up to experience

do believe that you can accomplish anything you set your mind to doing

take energy from those that support your voice and your dreams

but remember energy is a two way street --so give some back

i never expect any response to anything i write her and not really

looking for it --- however, the last one i had was so very beautiful

and i  so appreciated his words----

however someone sent them a "private message" shortly after--- and i

am sure that it was not favorable about me---(appears now to have magically dissappeared)

but then i've always said the only two things

that i detest are hyprocrisy and apathy and i prefer being disliked

to apathy----any day.

my wish for you singer/musicians---

i wish your voice to become more beautiful with every passing day and

that you cherish it---as i do mine.

remember most of all to be positive---so your voice will reflect your

inner strength and confidence.

remember to love easily, forgive quickly and to respect that which

took the time, energy and heart to bring you  this far.

i'm talking about you---singer/musician!

hugs,
bev
