Solo Jazz Piano Arrangement Books

i play jazz sax and am learning piano as a 2nd instrument and am probably at an early intermediate level. i do mainly classical for technique but have also been using "thelonious monk easy piano solos" by ronnie mathews who himself was a great jazz pianist. i wanted to find similar intermediate level books for other pianists, and came across one by andy laverne on bill evans.

i have also been looking for one for duke ellington and found one called "lee evans arranges duke ellington for solo piano". does anyone know whether this would be any good? he seems to have arranged a lot of piano books for hal leonard. there's also "duke ellington (jazz piano solos series, vol. 9)" by brent edstrom. is anyone familiar with him?

also if there are any other book anyone could recommend please post it.

some of the very best solo jazz arrangements come out of the piano today magazine and have been compiled in a series of books called the steinway and sons jazz books. you can see them on https://www.pianotoday.com

fyi, piano today magazine has merged with sheet music magazine and is now being published under the sheet music name. https://www.sheetmusicmagazine.com looks like the books scot mentioned are still available on pianotoday.com, though.
